E-Commerce Web Build & UX Audit (2026)

Digital Printing Service

Printing Service Interface
01. The Problem

I identified a significant friction point for users attempting to navigate complex custom printing orders. Many local services rely on manual quoting or outdated forms that create an administrative bottleneck. The objective of this project was to create a streamlined, trustworthy interface that simplifies the ordering process while ensuring the user feels secure and in control of their digital assets.

02. UX Strategy

Frictionless UX

Designed a logical flow that guides users through paper weights, sizes, and finishes without overwhelming them with technical jargon.

Visual Feedback

Implemented clear feedback loops to confirm selections, ensuring a "joyful" and error-free journey from start to finish.

Trust & Safety

Prioritised a clean, professional aesthetic to build user confidence during the file upload and checkout process.

03. Technical Implementation

I focused on building a responsive architecture that handles user interactions reliably. By prioritising clean semantic code and mobile-first design, I ensured the platform is accessible to all users, regardless of their device. This project allowed me to apply my high standards for 'digital polish' to a functional, commercial challenge.

05. Reflection

This project was a key step in refining my ability to build production-ready interfaces that balance aesthetic quality with underlying stability. It allowed me to bridge the gap between static design and a functional site, ensuring that every interaction feels intentional and polished.

My personal goal was to demonstrate that even complex ordering systems can be made to feel effortless for the user. By maintaining a forward-thinking mindset and holding myself to high personal standards, I have created a blueprint for how local businesses can transition into the modern digital age with confidence and style.
